A fencing Academy designed for South Miami Tropical Park, this biaxially symmetrical center features exposed concrete and a gigantic metal vault supported on trusses buttressed by the very gallery that circumscribes the building perimeter. The structure ensures reduced glares by maximizing clerestory windows and eliminating ground floor windows for ease of fencing which provided with a great opportunity to stack the service programs underneath the gliders. The landscaping follows a similar axial symmetrical scheme leading the visitors to the front entrance.
